Cobogó Brazilian Design conveys the diversity and beauty of Brazilian culture through artisanal handicraft and design. We are partners to artists and craftspersons in Brazil and represent their work in Switzerland. While our partnership is based on deep respect and close collaboration with creative and skilled producers, we want to acquaint our clients with products that are both, innovative and rooted in tradition. We value the cultural background in which the artworks are embedded and believe on the importance of transmitting the history that lies behind each one of them.
The bridge we establish between Brazilian arts and crafts and our clients in Switzerland is founded on professional experience and expertise in the fields of architecture, interior design and fashion. As a multidisciplinary team based in both countries, we are involved on site with creators and keep close track on current developments in the market.
Sustainability
By actively helping the producer community to shape production and supply chains, we intent to create an important economic alternative for improving the living standards of the communities involved. Respect for people and nature should be reflected in decent working conditions, fair prices, and transparency.
We are convinced that a solid and reliable source of income, achieved through environmentally friendly activities, contributes to the preservation of both most valuable assets that these spaces have to offer. Namely the uniqueness of the local cultures and the landscapes in which they are embedded.
